Are you aged 11 upwards (in school years 7 up)?  Then Potential is for you!  We meet on Sundays during the talk at the Sunday gathering and on Monday evenings at Meredith Road Baptist Church 7-8:30pm.

On Sundays we meet for hot chocolate (cream and marshmallows of course), biscuits and chat.
We want to encourage each other to build on our relationship with Jesus wherever it is right now. This involves equipping us with skills, knowledge and relationships that will help not only now, but in the future. We aim to provide a safe place where we can express our relationship with God.
We encourage each other to participate actively in the time of sung worship with the adults before moving out for our session. We use this time to explore life and God's purpose for us.  We have covered topics like exams, parents, friendships, relationships, worship, prayer... the list goes on.

Monday evenings is our young people’s small group. This provides us with an opportunity to meet for a mixture of fun and games, discussion, worship, Bible study and prayer. We aim to have a great time as we discover what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
We also run regular social events, ranging from in-house sessions with games and/or food, to trips out (bowling, cinema etc).
