who are we?

We are a community of followers of Jesus Christ.

We are a group of people from all walks of life, committed to the mission of God. We believe in living lives oriented around the Kingdom of God, bringing the life of Jesus to the lives of the people in our community.

As we journey together we want to understand what it means to live in the Kingdom of God. Our desire is to be captured by the beauty of the Kingdom and to demonstrate the glory of the Kingdom to others.

We want to show our generation how to follow Jesus.

So how does this work in practice?

E n c o u r a g e

We want to encourage people to worship God in their everyday lives.
To make this a reality we:

Gather frequently to encourage each other to live a spirit filled lifestyle that is holy and pleasing to God.

Practice daily disciplines which cause an intimacy and reverence of God to permeate our lives.

Cultivate a relationship with God that is vibrant and strong and which radiates the light of the Kingdom into all our relationships.

E q u i p

We want to equip people to do the things Jesus did by the power of the Holy Spirit.
To make this a reality we:

Choose to help one another live as apprentices of Jesus, to be spiritually transformed and excel at living.

Cooperate with God and rely on the Holy Spirit as we live this life together and continue the mission of Jesus.

Expect to see God’s Kingdom in action in our lives as we explore the Bible together and contribute to God’s Story.

E x p r e s s

We want to express the love and compassion of God to all in need, in practical ways.
To make this a reality we:

Demonstrate God’s love, grace and mercy to the World, as we share the love we have received and surprise people with God’s extravagant generosity.

Desire to be a missional community, sent out to the local community to meet people's needs (emotional, physical and spiritual).

Support other churches as we actively seek the work of the Kingdom in Coventry and the surrounding area.
